  • This presentation highlighted the process of badge development. Two different case studies were shown which demonstrate the implementation of badges. Ultimately, ways to discern between buzzwords or trends in technology integration, open badges, pathways, micro-credentials, or online ecosystems to determine the best use of badges to support your individual realms was discussed.

  • Have you wondered whether you are using technology to transform your students’ learning or if you are replacing your face to face content with digital content? This session took a deep dive into the affordances of technology and how they can be used to improve language learning. Learners walked away with an understanding of how to use technology to enhance student learning, as well as practical examples of how this has been done in a variety of languages.
